What an amazing countryside escape! the location was perfect, surrounded by endless hills and greenery. the cozy and spotless room with a view over the fields made for a very comfortable stay. Not to mention the huge and super comfortable bed, perfect for a good night's sleep. the staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Their knowledge of the area helped us make the most of our short city break, and the restaurant made for a delicious and convenient dinner option.

Honestly, there was very little to complain about. Perhaps the only thing to mention is that it was a bit of a drive to reach the hotel, but that's just the nature of staying in the heart of the countryside.

Their friendliness and attentiveness really made us feel like part of the family. the location of the inn, surrounded by beautiful scenery, was perfect, and we enjoyed going for walks in the area. the room was lovely, with a comfortable bed, a clean and fresh bathroom for our exclusive use, and a stunning view from the window. Breakfast was excellent, with a delicious Irish selection, and the staff was genuinely pleasant and helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to returning.

Just returned from a weekend break at the Red Pump Inn and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The yurt we stayed in was surprisingly cozy and kept us warm even during a storm. The open air loo added to the fun and unique atmosphere. The owners, Fran and Jonathan, welcomed us like old friends and made a fuss over our dogs, which they loved. The food at the pub was fabulous, both dinner and breakfast, and we thoroughly enjoyed the well-stocked shelves of Irish and Scottish whiskey. A visit to this hidden gem in Lancashire is highly recommended. We can't wait to return in the near future. a weekend break with a difference that exceeded our expectations.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel on the edge of the Trough of Bowland. The location was perfect, with a great view of the Ribble Valley between Longridge Fell and Pendleton Hill. The hotel itself had so much character, with rooms that were comfortable and had a cosy feel. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I also loved the attention to detail, with locally sourced ingredients used for the delicious breakfast. The value for money was excellent, especially considering the great prices and basic amenities provided.

During our recent stay in the area with friends, we had the pleasure of staying at a charming inn run by a delightful host named Fran. The location was picturesque, nestled in a scenic area surrounded by beautiful countryside. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The staff provided excellent service, ensuring that we felt welcome and attended to throughout our stay. The highlight of our experience was the delicious breakfast, with a variety of options including a scrumptious yogurt and granola dish topped with berry compote and fragrant cinnamon-infused apricots. our time at this inn was truly enjoyable.

The live music from the pub could be heard quite loudly in our room, which made it a bit difficult to sleep until the music ended.

The Red Pump Inn offers a lovely, dog-friendly Shepherd's Hut and is situated in a picturesque area. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the entire place is beautifully maintained. The comfortable beds and spacious rooms provide a pleasant stay, while the exceptional breakfast, featuring yogurt and granola with berry compote and apricots steeped in cinnamon, is a highlight. it's a charming and clean country pub with lots of character, perfect for friends going out at nights.

Felt safe walking at night, nothing to complain about.
