The picturesque location of the hotel, with its close proximity to the raging river, created a soothing and idyllic atmosphere that could be enjoyed from our room window. the hotel's location in the Lyn Valley provided excellent opportunities for scenic walks along the river to Lynmouth. As serious walkers, we appreciated being on Exmoor and close to the South West Coast Path, allowing us to easily explore the beautiful surroundings.

No negatives, everything was perfect.

Bright and recently redecorated room and en-suite. Firm mattress on the double bed. Good standard food and a range of local beers available. Proprietors were welcoming and friendly. Peaceful location with beautiful surroundings and riverside walk nearby.

our valentine's day stay in lynton exceeded our expectations. the inn was clean and the staff were polite. the location was perfect for walking and the food was excellent, with a good breakfast choice. rockford inn made our stay memorable.

Hot water issues.

We recently spent Christmas in a rural hotel which offered easy access to beautiful walks and trails. the hotel was well maintained, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a pack of Haribo on the bed as a welcoming gesture. the best aspect was the warm hospitality we received from the staff who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We were also impressed by the quality of the breakfast menu which provided delicious options, made to a high standard.

The en-suite was a bit small, expected due to the age of the property. We struggled with poor phone signal and limited activity offerings in the vicinity.

We had a fantastic stay at the Rockford Inn. the room was comfortable and clean, and we had all the necessary facilities. the highlight was the gorgeous food served each evening, as well as the excellent breakfasts. the location of the inn was perfect for long walks along the river, coast paths, and Exmoor, providing a peaceful and beautiful setting.
