We had a truly welcoming and enjoyable experience at The Rose & Crown. Dave and Jake went above and beyond to ensure our stay was facilitated. We were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful present upon arrival. The hotel is conveniently located near the railway station and town, yet it has a tucked away ambiance. The quirky and tasteful decor, inspired by Shakespeare's female characters, added to the charm of the clean and comfortable rooms. The owners and staff were friendly and made us feel right at home. The healthy and hearty breakfast provided a great start to our day. We will definitely return when we're in the area again!

The room was immaculate and beautifully furnished, with a comfortable mattress and a variety of coffees and teas. The fresh breakfast selection was delightful, and the location in the historic center of a charming Surrey market town was perfect. We would definitely stay here again. Our stay at the Rose & Crown was absolutely delightful. The charming blend of old and modern decor created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail in the room and bathroom decor was exceptional, and we loved the quirky ski-themed design. The bunk beds in the family room were a hit with the kids, and the double bed was comfortable for us. The continental breakfast had a nice variety of choices, although hot food like sausages and eggs would have been a welcome addition. The staff, especially Kevin, were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The location was great for exploring the nearby areas of Godalming and Guildford. Despite a minor issue with the bathroom mirror being difficult to see into, it didn't detract from our overall wonderful experience at the Rose & Crown.

I had a wonderful experience at Rose & Crown. Leslie, the helpful staff member, served a delicious continental breakfast with fresh fruit and yogurt. The location, close to town, was convenient. The quirky decor added to the charm of the hotel. Leslie even arranged for us to be moved to another room, Juliet, for the second night. Although the doors and head space were low, the room was lovely. The manager was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The separate entrance was a nice touch, avoiding the need to walk through the pub. The kids especially enjoyed the separate room with a tablet for their use. a pleasant stay at Rose & Crown.

Quaint and quirky, the 16th century pub provided a cosy and warm stay in the heart of a charming Surrey market town. stayed at a lovely boutique hotel in godalming & was blown away by the charming decor, attentive staff, & separate kids' room with a tablet. breakfast was a treat & the manager went above & beyond to ensure a great stay. loved the blend of ancient & modern. a truly unforgettable experience at a central location.

Noise from pub, but it ended at 12.30pm

I stayed at The Rose & Crown for a locally running event and was pleasantly surprised by the superb rooms and awesome customer service. The staff went above and beyond to meet our needs, even providing a warm breakfast and hot drinks before our early morning start. The newly decorated rooms were welcoming with lots of little luxury touches. The breakfast was delicious with a great selection of pastries, fresh fruit, and yogurt. I will definitely be returning in the future and highly recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at The Rose & Crown. The single room was beautifully appointed and had lots of special little touches that made it very cosy and comfortable. The location, just a short distance from the train station, was perfect for us. The staff were lovely and the simple breakfast was good. And despite some road noise, the wonderfully cosy room more than made up for it.

Although the room was clean and well-decorated, I felt that it was a bit overpriced for the size and bed provided. The bed was a small double instead of a regular double, which made it uncomfortable for taller individuals.
