Plus, their packed lunches will fuel you up for days of exploring the Yorkshire Dales. the hosts, Jane and Robert, are the cherry on top , hospitable and full of local tips. Another positive note is the convenient location, just a stone's throw away from Pen, y, Ghent and the railway station. the cozy accommodations at the Shippon were well, equipped and spotless. The effort put into making Rowe House a welcoming haven truly shines through. Cons: Rain all week didn't dampen our spirits during this lovely getaway in Horton in Ribblesdale. That's just the Yorkshire way, right? .

After a tiring day hiking, the cozy room embraced me like a warm hug, and the soundproofing worked like a charm - it was as if the hustle and bustle of the world outside had vanished into thin air. the view of the peak outside my window was simply breathtaking.

The location was ideal, with easy access to facilities, the train station, and starting point for the 3 peak challenge. The staff, Jane and Robert, were friendly and provided exceptional service throughout my stay.

Breakfast delights, but it would be great to have the option of an evening meal at the B&B as well.

The hotel was in a great location, just a short walk from the train station. The room was clean and they provided fresh towels, shower gels, and a hair dryer. The best part was the breakfast - they had a variety of options to choose from and the food was delicious.

It would have been nice to see some festive decorations to get into the Christmas spirit. , the room was a bit small and cramped, and the bed was not very comfortable.
