We had a fantastic value for the price we paid at Rusland Pool. The room was spacious, well-furnished, and had a super comfy bed. Despite being near the main road, it was surprisingly quiet. The staff at breakfast were friendly and efficient, and there were plenty of options to choose from. Plus, the fresh percolated coffee was a delicious touch.

This hotel offers great value for money with its fair prices and attention to detail. The staff at this hotel provide old-fashioned hospitality, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The rooms offer a great view and are equipped with excellent showers. Plus, the breakfast included in the stay is delicious, with various options to choose from.

One of the positive aspects of this hotel is its attention to detail. The rooms are equipped with old fashioned hospitality, complete with their own little terrace. The super shower in the contemporary-looking bathroom is definitely worth mentioning. Furthermore, breakfast is served with various options included, and they even remembered to serve it before the cereal!

The location of the hotel is great, as it is near enough to the Lakes and directly opposite a beautiful field. The room we stayed in was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with two windows offering a lovely green view. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, and the breakfast had a wide variety of options, including vegetarian and vegan choices. There is also a bar and restaurant on-site, and parking for several vehicles.

That the room was not fully serviced on the second day of our stay.

The location of the hotel is ideal for nature lovers, as it is situated directly opposite a beautiful field and offers easy access to picturesque walking trails in the surrounding lakes area. Additionally, its proximity to Lakeside allows for convenient cruises to explore nearby destinations like Bowness-on-Windermere or Ambleside.

Although the hotel provides a pleasant stay overall, some guests may find the mattress to be a bit too firm for their liking. However, this is a personal preference and does not detract from the overall positive experience at the hotel.

We stayed at Rusland Pool for my 30th birthday and had a brilliant time. Rachel and her husband were very attentive and made our stay extra special. The food was excellent with a wide selection on the menu. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and we enjoyed the little touches like the birthday card left for me. The complimentary breakfast had great choices, and we loved the modern decor and well-decorated bathroom. The view from our room was fantastic, and the staff were efficient and friendly. highly recommended!

I can't recommend this hotel highly enough!

What a gem of a place! I arrived in the late afternoon after exploring the beautiful Coniston. The lady at the reception warmly welcomed me and showed me to my spacious and clean double room. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room had all the necessary amenities. Before heading to the restaurant, I enjoyed a few drinks on the terrace, overlooking the picturesque fields. The extensive menu offered plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, and the prices were reasonable. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious, and despite racking my brain, I couldn't find a single negative thing to say. Well, except for the cute cat meowing outside my window at 4am! I will definitely return when I visit the lakes again. highly recommended.

Nowhere to relax as a guest when it's raining.

The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made for a delightful stay. Rooms were clean and well-maintained with comfy beds and ample storage. the food was yummy and had a wide variety to choose from. Plus, the hotel's key location allowed us to easily drive to nearby attractions.

The bathtub drainage wasn't great and the tea and coffee supplies were not always replenished. we had to take out our own rubbish and did not have daily cleaning service.
