From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and cared for. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a relaxing bath and useful appliances like a ghd hair straightener. The hotel offers a great selection of complimentary items and even provided additional thoughtful toiletries. The location was exceptional and having two restaurants/bars connected to the hotel was a major plus. The discount for guests at The Huxley was a nice perk, and the breakfast there was out of this world. The Rutland truly made my stay special.

This hotel is amazing! The location is superb, with easy access to the many attractions of the city center. It's just a 15-minute walk past the castle to get to the old town, and it's located on a quiet road at the end of Princes Street. The view from the windows is great, and most popular Edinburgh attractions are within walking distance. Additionally, the staff here is outstanding. They are friendly, attentive, and always went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. From welcoming us with snacks and drinks, to suggesting excellent restaurants and even helping with our luggage, their care and attention were truly exceptional.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends.

I can't rave enough about The Rutland. Great value for money with a huge and well-equipped room. The location was perfect, right at the end of Princes Street with everything within walking distance. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially the woman at the front desk who made us feel so welcome.

The breakfast menu could have had more options.

The location of the hotel was ideal, with plenty of bars and quality restaurants nearby. I had an outstanding experience and can't wait to return. Spent my Easter break in a boutique hotel and it was a great experience! Enjoyed the complimentary shortbread and high-quality toiletries in the room. the hotel was located in a perfect spot, close to shops, restaurants and public transport. One of the best aspects was finding GHD straighteners that saved space in my luggage!

The view from my window, as it faced a busy street that was a bit noisy at night. However, this was balanced out by the fact that the room had excellent soundproofing and I slept like a baby.

The value for money was great, we got a spacious and well-appointed room with a large comfy bed. The location was perfect, close to attractions and shops. The staff were friendly and attentive.

The hotel had a clean environment and offered a stunning view of the castle and surrounding area. The room provided GHD hair straighteners and a dryer, perfect for getting ready for a night out. The coffee facilities were excellent, and there was even a single pint of milk in the fridge. The mini soaps available had an amazing scent, and I'm considering buying the brand for my own use at home. She was more than willing to answer any questions we had, making our stay even more enjoyable.

We appreciated the amenities like ironing facilities, heating, and air conditioning, as well as the tea and coffee facilities. The free Wi-Fi and soundproofed rooms were also a plus.
