The room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the well-prepared breakfast at the on-site restaurant which had a lovely atmosphere. The friendly staff directed us to a free and safe car park which was just across the road from the hotel, making our commute convenient.

Our bathroom fan made a loud bang which disturbed adjacent rooms and required us to ask housekeeping to unlock it for us. no one was available at the front desk during check-in and check-out, meaning that we had to walk around to the bar entrance and wait before we could check-in.

Security is tight, with swipe card entry and a receptionist on duty all night. The room is quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep.

The kitchen staff can get quite loud late at night, which may disturb light sleepers.

We had a wonderful stay at the Saxon Crown. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the room and the unexpected amenities like an iron and hairdryer. The restaurant served delicious food with generous portions, and the overall value for money was excellent. Despite a couple of minor issues, such as the lack of a fan in the room and nearby construction noise, we highly recommend this hotel. I would definitely recommend the Saxon Crown to friends and family.
