the pub had a fantastic traditional decoration that truly captured the essence of the black country. the bedrooms were beautifully furnished with a lovely cast iron fireplace and a large double bed. the modern bathrooms were a perfect contrast to the traditional decor. the attention to detail was impeccable, with complimentary tea, coffee, and spring water provided. the friendly staff made me feel welcome and their service was top-notch. I found this place to be even better than some of the four-star hotels I have stayed at in Europe.
