The Ship Inn was a great value for the price. The room was spacious, clean, and had a lovely en suite with a huge shower. The location was perfect for exploring, just a minute walk from the quay, and the staff were incredibly nice and accommodating.

Breakfast delights would have been even better with an earlier start time.

Just returned from another fantastic stay at the Ship Inn. the location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Fowey. We loved the relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. the food in the pub was amazing, especially the scotch egg starter. And breakfast was absolutely delicious. the rooms were comfortable and the staff were helpful. Can't wait to come back next year!

We had a delightful experience at the cozy Ship Inn. The barmaid warmly greeted us upon arrival, and the bearded landlord created a cozy atmosphere by lighting the fire. The menu offered an exceptional culinary journey, starting with fresh local cider and a shared bowl of Fowey mussels. The sandwiches made with local crab and warm St Austell beef were generously filled and served with a side salad. We found the Pinot Grigio and Tempranillo by the glass to be perfect companions. The peaceful ambiance of Fowey in early January made our visit even more special. I highly recommend this exceptional pub experience.

What a great hideaway! the breakfast was sumptuous and fresh, just the way I like it. the décor, though a bit dated, added a sense of character to the place. Plus, the location was great and made it easy for me to pop in and out for my business dealings.

I had a wonderful stay at The Ship Inn in Fowey. The location was great, right in the town center and a short walk to the beach. The breakfast was good and the shower in my room was excellent. The staff, especially the lady who checked me in and served me at the bar, were kind, professional, and helpful. The view from my window of St. Finbarrus, Fowey Church was breathtaking. The room was comfortable, well-decorated, and the TV was very large. it was an amazing experience for a great price.

I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.
