We recently stayed at a charming hotel by the shore in a beautiful part of the country. The location was excellent, providing easy access to RSPB Leighton Moss. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a view of the sea. The staff were friendly and genuinely interested in our holiday. The breakfast was delicious and there was a wide selection of tea and coffee.

The bathroom could have been cleaner, but this was likely due to tired fittings rather than the efforts of the cleaners.

The hotel is ideally located right on the coast, providing easy access to scenic walks along the shore. The rooms are spacious and clean, offering great views of the surrounding forest. The staff is friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist. The breakfast is pleasantly served, with a variety of options available. the hotel has a lovely beer garden and a bar to relax in after a day of exploration.

The bathroom could use some updating to match the overall quality of the room.

The breakfast at Silverdale was absolutely delicious, with generous portions and high-quality ingredients. Our room had a stunning view of the surrounding countryside, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. Despite some minor inconveniences, such as a temperamental shower and lukewarm coffee, our stay was enjoyable overall. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

I had a fantastic stay at a hotel close to the bay. The location was perfect, as it was very close to the sea and right on the coast. The hotel facilities were excellent and offered everything I needed. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Additionally, the breakfast provided was delicious and varied.

It was the perfect start to our day, giving us the energy we needed to explore the surrounding area.

Had a great time during my New Year stay. Loved the warm and welcoming feel of the place. The food was delicious, with locally sourced ingredients. The rooms were comfy, with great facilities and very comfortable beds. The location was perfect, midway between the Lakes and the North West coast. I also enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the excellent service provided by the staff.

Although my stay was very pleasant, there were a few aspects that could be improved. There was no hanging space for clothes and the cupboards were too small.
