Our recent stay was fantastic! The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of fresh food. We especially enjoyed the cooked breakfasts! The rooms were clean, luxurious and comfortable with everything we needed. We also appreciated the little touches, such as homemade biscuits and a selection of teas and coffee. The location was great, close to beautiful walks and within easy reach of local amenities.

We did have some issues with the Wi-Fi, but it wasn't too much of a problem as we were able to use it for social media. we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel for a city break.

I had a wonderful stay at a charming B&B in a fantastic location. The hosts were incredibly friendly and made my children, dog, and me feel welcome. The breakfast was delicious, and the latte they served was the best I've ever had. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the recently updated cafe was beautiful. The village itself was lovely, with plenty of amenities nearby, including pubs, a fish and chip shop, and a village store. The best part was being able to access the coastal path right from the village and reach Woolacombe beach in just a few minutes. It was the perfect location and a perfect place to stay!

Although a minor issue, I did find it inconvenient that the coffee machine and kettle were plugged into a 2-socket extension lead, making it difficult to charge our phones without unplugging the appliances. This could easily be resolved by using a 4-socket lead.

We had a fantastic stay at Smugglers Rest Bed & Breakfast. The hosts, Will and Stacey, were wonderful and made us feel welcome. Our room had a lovely standing balcony, which offered beautiful views of the village of Mortehoe. The breakfast served in the beautifully decorated café was delicious. The location was perfect, close to Woolacombe but in a more relaxed area. We enjoyed nice walks nearby and convenient parking. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was tastefully decorated. a great stay in a lovely place.

As a light sleeper, I appreciated the quiet atmosphere and peaceful surroundings. The location allowed for relaxing walks and was close to Woolacombe. Parking was convenient and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room had lovely decor and the breakfast options were far better than the usual hotel style.

The location of this hotel is second to none - just a short walk away from some lovely beaches and right next to two charming pubs. It's also perfect for exploring the surrounding area with beautiful cliff walks and other beaches within walking distance. The value for money is exceptional, especially considering that breakfast is included in the price. The rooms are attractively decorated, well-furnished, and spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and picturesque views. The breakfast itself is excellent, with delicious, beautifully cooked food, including amazing black pudding and homemade jams and marmalade.

All in all, everything was absolutely fine.

Smugglers Rest Bed & Breakfast exceeded my expectations in every way. From the exceptional breakfast choices to the friendly and welcoming hosts, Will and Stacey, my stay was truly outstanding. the location is perfect, with beautiful beaches just a short distance away and two pubs within stumbling distance. the rooms are spectacular, decorated in traditional Victorian style with tall ceilings. the staff made me feel like part of the family, and the breakfasts were cooked to perfection. I will definitely be recommending Smugglers Rest to my friends and family.

This hotel was a delightful surprise from the moment we arrived. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the recently refurbished rooms on the second floor with their deluxe decor, to the friendly and helpful staff who made us feel truly valued as guests. The location in the village was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the nearby North Devon coastal path and enjoy the stunning views. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast that was the perfect way to start each day of our stay.

The room was impeccably clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I appreciated the extra touches like tea and cookies. We had a brilliant time in this lovely village with picturesque walks and cycling routes in North Devon. The hotel facilities were clean and well-appointed, and the parking was convenient. The location was perfect, with a post-office, shop, take-aways, and pubs nearby. The breakfast was amazing, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
