We absolutely loved this place! The location was flipping brilliant for exploring the surrounding areas, and it was lovely to come back to after a long walk. The service and housekeeping were top-notch, and the room amenities, like the ironing facilities and tea and coffee facilities, were very convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. The food was excellent, and we were particularly impressed with the breakfast options. this place exceeded our expectations and provided a great way to unwind after a day of exploring.

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location, right on the little harbor, was perfect for exploring this side of Cornwall. The service, provided by Barbara and her staff, was top-notch and they couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities we needed, including ironing facilities, heating, and tea and coffee facilities. The view from the bed of the working harbor was absolutely stunning. The restaurant staff, Bev and the chef, were exceptional, and the breakfast cooked by Steve was delicious with lots of choices. We also appreciated the free Wi-Fi in public areas and the leisure garden area, where we could relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. All in all, this place exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back.

The food at this place was outstanding, especially the breakfast menu which had a wide range of choices. the staff were also very friendly and helpful, going out of their way to assist us. the rooms were beautifully decorated and offered great value for the price we paid.

Our room did not have a view and to make matters worse, there was a noisy seagull with an even noisier chick right outside our window ledge. It was quite bothersome.

I had a wonderful stay at an amazing B&B with the best staff and a great location. The owners went above and beyond to accommodate my vegan diet, preparing delicious breakfasts and even making me sandwiches for lunch. The room was perfect, and the hospitality was incredible. I highly recommend this hotel.

The value for money at the Smugglers was excellent, with a comfortable and quiet room. The location was great, allowing us to easily explore nearby attractions and visit the working fishing port of Newlyn. The friendly owners were extremely helpful, providing recommendations and answering all our questions.

The breakfast could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

Had a decent time during Christmas and enjoyed the fireplace and the decorations. the hotel has a good location, within walking distance to the town centre and attractions. the room was equipped with a coffee machine and a hairdryer which were very useful.

The hotel was noisy, and we could hear other guests' conversations through the walls. we were disturbed at night by the sound of squeaky beds.

The Forbes room was well appointed and had a lovely outside seating area. The room was clean and comfortable, with great views. The location was very close to Penzance and allowed for easy access to nearby towns. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We couldn't have asked for better value for our money at The Smugglers. The room was modern, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The location was peaceful and only a short walk from the bustling high street. The staff, particularly Barbara and Stephen, were welcoming and genuinely cared about our stay.

Hotel breakfast would have been even better with a bit more lighting around the dressing table mirror.

I recently stayed at The Smugglers in Penzance for a few days and had a fantastic experience. The rooms were lovely, although a bit dark during the autumn/winter season. The view from the restaurant overlooking Newlyn Harbour was stunning. Barbara, the host, was excellent and Mike served the most scrumptious breakfast. The Forbes room had a delightful little garden, providing a peaceful retreat. I thoroughly recommend staying here. The hotel staff were friendly, the food was delicious, and the rooms were pristine and well-equipped.

Great stay in a room with a view of boats coming and going. Hospitable staff, clean and comfortable room with good quality furnishings. Very good breakfast selection. Useful location, frequent bus service to nearby destinations.

The welcome we received was warm and the stay was very comfortable. The breakfast choices were fantastic and excellently prepared. We also appreciated the willingness of the staff to go the extra mile. Additionally, the location was key, with easy access to both Penzance and Mousehole, thanks to the very frequent bus service.

One small issue we had was the noise of the gulls in the mornings. Light sleepers might want to bring earplugs.
