Friendly and helpful staff, made us feel very welcome. Convenient location, within walking distance to town and attractions. the spacious room and bathroom were a pleasant surprise. We also appreciated the fan in the room as the weather was quite warm. the private whiskey tasting followed by a delicious dinner at the hotel was a fun and educational experience. the hotel bar had a great atmosphere, and we really enjoyed mingling with the friendly guests.

While the breakfast was tasty and had a good variety for meat eaters, it would have been nice to see more options for vegetarians, such as veggie sausage and veggie haggis. the low bedside tables made it difficult to read in bed due to the glaring lightbulb from the bedside lamp.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in so many ways. the value for money was exceptional. We couldn't believe the prices considering the level of service and the attention to detail. Additionally, the location was perfect for us, being just a short walk from the center of town but situated on a quiet side street. The rooms were great - spacious, clean, and ideal for managing our group of boys. The staff at the front of the hotel were friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. And of course, the breakfast was simply outstanding. We've traveled extensively and can confidently say that this was one of the best breakfasts we've ever had. From the fresh fruit to the variety of juices, everything was top-notch.
