Our stay at this quaint hotel was delightful. The location, nestled in well-kept gardens, provided a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The staff were friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The room was clean and comfortable, with a pleasant view of the gardens. In the morning, we enjoyed a delicious continental breakfast, specially arranged for us as we had to leave early. The hotel's garden was a lovely spot to relax and unwind. Neg: The only downside was the difficulty in getting taxis from the hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at Star! From the warm welcome to the delicious Friday night meal and extensive wine list, everything was perfect. The room was stunning, with an incredibly comfortable bed that was a bonus for me as someone who has had previous spinal surgery. We can't wait to come back and next time we'll definitely be bringing our dog. The location was beautiful, and the staff were lovely. The menu boasted a great selection of locally sourced, fresh produce, including unique meat-based options. The breakfast was amazing too, with a wide range of choices and great value for money. a wonderful experience.

star inn is a great place to stay! the breakfast spread was excellent with a wide selection of fresh local food. the beds were very comfortable and the location was perfect for both tourism and visiting family. we were able to easily explore nearby archaeological sites and enjoy beautiful country walks. in addition, the star inn is conveniently located within driving distance of oxford and other popular tourist destinations. the attention to detail in the room was superb, with thoughtful amenities like a good hairdryer and a dedicated facecloth for makeup removal. the room itself was beautifully decorated and made us feel right at home. overall, our stay at the star inn was a highlight of our international house move.

As longer term business travelers, we were impressed with the facilities and amenities provided at this stunning inn. The location was picturesque and the cleanliness of the entire establishment was top-notch. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making for a restful stay. We truly found this place to be the perfect location to celebrate our 70th birthday.

I recently stayed at The Star for a few nights and it was a truly wonderful experience. The room was beautifully appointed and incredibly comfortable, with great attention to detail. The entire hotel, from the main restaurant and bar to the gardens, was impeccably decorated and maintained. The staff were also exceptional, welcoming and friendly. The setting of the hotel on the banks of the Thames was simply superb, and the rooms upstairs with sunny bay windows overlooking the garden were a joy to relax in. The modern and fresh decor, along with the excellent showers with a strong flow of water, added to the overall charm. The hotel also had a spa and gym, which provided great value to the stay.

We spent our Christmas holiday at a lovely country pub hotel. the food was excellent, especially the Christmas lunch. the staff were friendly, accommodating, and provided us with an evening meal given we arrived late. Our room was pretty with a good-sized shower cubicle, and the ensuite looked nice. the location was perfect, just a few minutes' walk from the town center. We also received a tray breakfast that was so handy.

The bed was very soft, and we didn't feel properly supported by it. This could be addressed to improve the overall comfort of the guests.
