The rooms are comfortable with great pressure in the shower, while the service is friendly and welcoming. The breakfast and dinner options are excellent, with imaginative additions to the menu like beef brisket and spiced roasted plums. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently close to Glenshee Ski centre for those looking for outdoor activities.

Some areas of the decor may appear tired in places.

During my stay at Strathardle Lodge, I was blown away by the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure that my son and I had a great experience. The owner even upgraded us to a quieter family room without any extra cost. The breakfast was delicious, especially the porridge which was the best I've ever had. The evening meals were also outstanding, including a surprisingly excellent Madras curry. The beer at the bar was in excellent condition and there was a great selection of real ales. The owner even helped me change a tire when I had a puncture, which was a huge relief. The overall attention to detail and customer service at Strathardle Lodge was top-notch. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic stay.

The value for money was exceptional and our room was incredibly clean, comfortable, and exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect for us, with easy access to beautiful walks and the Glenshee ski area. The staff treated us like family from the moment we walked in, making us and our dog feel welcome throughout our stay.

Breakfast delights, a wider variety of vegetarian options would have made the breakfast even better.

Our stay at the lodge was fantastic. The apartment was gorgeous, nicely decorated, and very clean. The beds were comfortable, and we loved the Arran Aromatics in the bathroom. There was plenty of space in the lodge, and the breakfast provided was lovely. We enjoyed the short walk into the village and the nearby walks and trails, which were perfect for our dogs. The hosts, Paul and David, were great and made us feel very welcome.

Visited during Christmas and had a wonderful time. the room decor was a bit outdated, but it was clean and comfortable. the best aspects were the excellent service from the hosts and the delicious breakfast served. the location was also perfect, with plenty of options for nearby walks and a pub in the village for a refreshing pint. There was also an honesty bar and a relaxing lounge area which added to the overall charm of the lodge.

We had a lovely weekend getaway at Strathardle Lodge, staying in their charming and clean 3-bedroom apartment. The location was stunning, with scenic views and plenty of walking trails nearby. The apartment was spacious and well-equipped, with comfortable beds, a big TV with smart features, and lovely Arran Aromatics in the bathroom. The hosts, Paul and Dave, were exceptional and made us feel incredibly welcome. Breakfast was delicious, with a great vegetarian fry-up option. We can't wait to visit again, perhaps for the cake school or a relaxing break with family.

My room had a wonderful view, a large comfortable bed, and a cozy window sofa. the amenities were great, including a nice selection of toiletries. the highlight of my stay was the delicious home-style cooking provided by the chef. the slow roasted lamb shoulder was melt-in-your-mouth perfection. the staff at the lodge were exceptional, with their genuine friendliness and relaxed professionalism. I had a very satisfying experience at the lodge.

We had a wonderful stay at a lovely lodge in a picturesque location. the staff, specifically Abi, went above and beyond to accommodate us, even staying up late to check us in. the room was stunning, with high ceilings and beautiful furniture. the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Though we missed breakfast due to other commitments, the location and surroundings were idyllic. We wished we could have stayed longer and are grateful to Abi for taking care of us.
