I recently had a very pleasant stay at a hotel in the Forest of Dean. The location was perfect, right in the center of a charming town. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. The room was clean and comfortable, with a private bathroom just opposite. I particularly enjoyed the excellent breakfast that was included in the price.

In terms of improvement, there was only one minor issue. The bar area was sometimes unmanned when I first arrived, which was a little inconvenient.

Looking for a fantastic beach getaway? Look no further than this quaint pub accommodation right in the centre of town. The rooms are well-prepared and have all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay. The staff are friendly and attentive, making sure all your needs are met. And the breakfast, oh my! It's absolutely scrumptious with plenty of options to choose from. Plus, the hotel is conveniently located right next to a station for the Dean Forest Railway and is just a stone's throw away from the beach.

The wifi signal can be a bit weak at times.

I had a fantastic stay at the Swan. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly and felt taken care of, especially since I was traveling alone. the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the food, especially on steak night, was exceptional. Even though I couldn't have breakfast due to work commitments, the management kindly provided dinner instead. I couldn't have asked for better service and genuine hospitality.

The hotel facilities were excellent, with a well-stocked bar featuring a great selection of lagers, Guinness, and cider. The breakfast was large and delicious, including options like black pudding. The location of the hotel, right in the centre of Lydney and attached to a pub, made it convenient for exploring the Forest of Dean and enjoying local restaurants.

As a vegan, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and deliciousness of the vegan options offered at The Swan inn. The staff were extremely accommodating, and the location was perfect for exploring nearby tourist attractions. The breakfast was outstanding, and the flexibility in serving times was a plus. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a spacious ensuite. I would definitely recommend The Swan to other tourists and hope to return in the future.

The food at the restaurant was exceptional, with the duck breast and pepper sauce being particularly superb. The quality of the dishes surpassed anything I've had in France or Spain at a similar price. The use of fresh, locally sourced ingredients and homemade bread rolls added to the delightful dining experience. The bar was well stocked with excellent IPAs, and the bed in my room was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. a wonderful stay at Swan.
