I recently had a very pleasant stay at a hotel in the Forest of Dean. The location was perfect, right in the center of a charming town. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. The room was clean and comfortable, with a private bathroom just opposite. I particularly enjoyed the excellent breakfast that was included in the price.

In terms of improvement, there was only one minor issue. The bar area was sometimes unmanned when I first arrived, which was a little inconvenient.

It's absolutely scrumptious with plenty of options to choose from. Plus, the hotel is conveniently located right next to a station for the Dean Forest Railway and is just a stone's throw away from the beach.

I had a fantastic stay at The Swan. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly and felt taken care of, especially since I was traveling alone. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the food, especially on steak night, was exceptional. Even though I couldn't have breakfast due to work commitments, the management kindly provided dinner instead. I couldn't have asked for better service and genuine hospitality.

I had a great stay at Swan! The room was spotlessly clean and newly decorated, and I had a peaceful night's sleep since my single room was located at the rear of the pub. The staff, especially the polite and helpful young lady at check-in, made me feel welcomed. The breakfast in the morning was excellent, with well-cooked hot options and a plentiful spread. Considering I was the only one staying on a Monday night, the chef made an effort to provide a delicious meal. The location was also convenient, close to all amenities.

We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious and clean room. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options. The hotel's location in the heart of town was convenient, despite some road closures. The staff were welcoming and accommodating, even catering to my vegan dietary needs. The separate entrance and key allowed for flexibility in coming and going. The beautiful lake near the hotel provided a peaceful and picturesque escape. Parking was available and the menu at the pub downstairs was impressive.
