Visited after two decades and still as amazing. Wonderful stay with incredible food and ambiance. Well-run with attentive staff, especially Lisa. Rooms are beautiful with comfortable super king beds, large walk-in showers, and lovely views from the terrace. the pub itself, listed and steeped in history, offers a unique and unforgettable experience.

If I had to mention something that could be improved, it would be the lack of a grab handle in the shower for older guests like myself. having more seating options in the room would have been appreciated.

My stay at the country pub was a wonderful experience. The spacious room with a private sitting area and relaxing views across the fields was a definite highlight. The food at the pub was excellent, with a good menu offering delicious options throughout the day and evening. The English breakfast in the morning was also very well-cooked. The staff were incredibly helpful and made my stay even more enjoyable.

While most of my stay was fantastic, there were a couple of downsides. the room I stayed in was quite warm, and there was no air conditioning or fans available.
