Location was perfect, right in the center of town and close to all the attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, always willing to provide recommendations and assistance. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and well-maintained.

The noise from outside was unbearable, especially at night. The single glazing did nothing to block out the sounds of traffic.

Nice varied menu. Prompt and delicious food. Refurbished room to high standard. Comfortable bed. Noisy street not an issue. Full English breakfast.

Stayed at Tollemache Arms Bed & Breakfast and had a wonderful experience. the room was warm and comfortable, with a very comfy bed and underfloor heating in the bathroom. the tea and coffee making tray had a good selection and the staff were exceptionally friendly. Although we didn't eat at the pub due to a prior arrangement, we would have liked to try the food. the full English breakfast was huge and satisfying, perfect for big eaters. the whole atmosphere was nice, with a lovely view of the garden and birdsong. the storage in the room was ample and the mugs provided were a nice touch. an excellent stay.

The room was absolutely amazing with a super comfy bed and underfloor heating in the bathroom, which was a mind-blowing bonus! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay truly enjoyable. The tea/coffee selection was great and the breakfast portions were jaw-droppingly huge! The food at the restaurant exceeded our expectations, with generous portions and delicious flavors. The cozy bar area with a log fire was a fantastic addition. The free wifi and ample parking were convenient perks. Sarah, one of the staff members, was always smiling and ready to assist. A big shout out to the chef who went above and beyond to help me with stationery needs. an excellent stay!

This hotel offers great value for money with its reasonable prices. The attention to detail is impressive, with rooms equipped with coffee-making facilities and nice bathrooms. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service. Moreover, the breakfast offered here is truly marvelous.

Everything was more than okay.

Had a lovely Xmas stay here. Two things stood out: first, the staff were really friendly and helpful. Always happy to chat and make sure we had everything we needed. Second, the food was top-notch. Delicious and plentiful. Location was great for getting out and exploring the local area, with some beautiful walks nearby. a great choice for our Xmas getaway.

my recent stay in buckminster was surpassed by the excellent experience at the bed & breakfast. the food was beautifully cooked and well presented, with friendly and helpful staff. the cosy atmosphere with a roaring fire was a lovely touch.

We had a bit of trouble with the hot water initially, but it was resolved later during our stay. The host and staff at the Tollemache Arms were incredibly welcoming and helpful, even finding a safe location for our tandem bicycle. The room itself was well-appointed and comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quietness of the rooms despite the pub being busy. The food on-site was delicious, with an ambitious menu and generous portions for breakfast.

One drawback was the lack of hooks in the room, making it difficult to hang coats or anything else. Additionally, the bar area and the room itself were quite cold, even though we were provided with enough bedclothes.

Near perfect pub B&B with pleasant rooms and a good location. The bar area is nice and the breakfast is huge and good. The staff is friendly and the chef is helpful. The room is a good size and the evening meal, like the fish and chips, is great.

Some areas of the hotel could use more housekeeping and air freshener.
