The bunkhouse is conveniently located not far from the station, making it fast and easy to walk to. Situated in the picturesque Snowdonia area, it offers a great base for exploring the beautiful surroundings. Within walking distance, there are also local pubs to enjoy. The rooms are comfortable, with clean sheets and comfy beds. The showers provide a pleasant experience with perfect water temperature. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent value and satisfying.

It would be beneficial if the bunkhouse could address the occasional lack of hot water.

The Vagabond Bunkhouse was a great find for our stay. the location was perfect—it was tucked away from the road with a beautiful waterfall next to it, providing a tranquil setting. The rooms were equipped with 6 comfy proper wooden bunks, offering a nice view of the surroundings. The bunkhouse also had great facilities, including clean shower cubicles and basic amenities. Lastly, the best part was the breakfast included in the stay, served at 8:30 am and freshly cooked to our specifications—definitely a great start to the day!

I recently stayed at the Vagabond Bunkhouse in Betws-y-Coed for 2 nights with my dog and we had a fantastic time. The staff, particularly Neil, were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The rooms were basic but comfortable, and the shower facilities were recently upgraded. I was pleasantly surprised by how dog-friendly the place was, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location of the bunkhouse was perfect - just a short stroll into the center of town but still quiet and peaceful. The communal atmosphere also made it easy to meet other like-minded travelers, with lots of hillwalkers, mountain bikers, and climbers staying there.

The wifi was quite unreliable and didn't work well in the rooms, so I had to sit in the hallway to get a decent signal. the shared showers were a bit uncomfortable, especially for women, and the water temperature was only lukewarm.

I had an excellent stay at a cozy bunkhouse located close to everything in a beautiful area. Being a small, family-run business, the owners and staff really care about making their guests feel at home and welcome. We enjoyed the privacy and charm of the cabin set back from the road, which was especially romantic and ideal for couples.
