Our kids were thrilled with the variety of activities available, keeping them entertained for hours. the staff were also incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home.

My wife says that the children's menu could have had more healthier options.

had another fabulous stay in sidmouth and the victoria hotel & source spa blew me away. the room had an incredible sea view, impeccable cleanliness, and delicious meals. staff provided top-class service, making our stay exceptional. definitely coming back for more northern lights magic in this gem by the sea.

All was perfect.

We loved how close the hotel was to the seafront, just a short walk away. The location allowed us to enjoy beautiful views of the ocean right from our room. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a well-maintained spa area that provided complimentary fruit and magazines for our leisure. The cleanliness of the rooms impressed us as they were topped up daily with complimentary items. The staff, particularly Deborah, were excellent in providing understated but superb service.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The room was brilliant - spacious, with a sea view and spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly, professional, and attentive. the breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices, and we even had tea and toast brought to us. the spa had great facilities; we enjoyed having the pool and jacuzzi to ourselves. the only downside was the cramped car park, caused by daytime function visitors. a wonderful stay! 🌊

I had an absolutely delightful stay at this 4-star hotel. The location was perfect, situated just above the beautiful Sidmouth seafront. It was so convenient to be able to walk to the promenade and enjoy the stunning views. The hotel itself was a grand old building, with a charming interior and well-manicured grounds. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, from the doorman who assisted with our luggage to the reception and dining room teams who provided excellent service. The room was lovely, with a comfortable sitting area and a terrace where we could relax and enjoy the garden furniture. The amenities were top-notch, including tea and coffee facilities, a mini-bar, and a television. The on-site dining restaurant was fantastic, offering delicious meals for both breakfast and dinner. And the leisure spa and wellness centre were a true highlight, with a luxurious indoor swimming pool, sauna, and steam room. I couldn't have asked for a better hotel experience.

I had a wonderful experience at Victoria. the large bedroom had plenty of lights for reading and two comfortable arm chairs by the window. the aids in the bathroom made getting out of the bath a breeze. the hotel provided plenty of towels and gowns for the pool and spa. I enjoyed the complimentary fruit and magazine while relaxing in the spa area. the rooms were stocked daily with complimentary items. the hotel offered a good variety of activities. the room was spotless with lovely touches like a flower in a vase and tea/coffee. the staff were constantly tidying up and wiping down surfaces. the receptionist and concierge were friendly and helpful. Special mentions to the waiters/waitresses who were polite and professional. the food was fabulous, especially after working in the NHS for the past few months. the staff's attitude was outstanding, the food was excellent, and the carefully planned facilities were much appreciated.

The rooms were luxurious, especially those with a sea view. The hotel had beautiful facilities and a traditional family ambiance. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was considerate and helpful.
