Who needs alcohol when you can sip on Erdinger alcohol-free beer? The cozy pub with a real fire made me feel warm and fuzzy. Oh, and I had the pleasure of being surrounded by exposed stone walls. Classy.

My only complaint is that I didn't have enough time to soak in all the historical knowledge from David Hume's hometown.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, with immaculate facilities and a well-maintained room. The location was convenient, as it was close to the event our son was competing in. Plus, the hotel had ample parking available for guests. The breakfast served in the morning was delicious and satisfying, providing a great start to our day. we were thoroughly impressed with the hotel and its facilities.

had an amazing stay at the waterloo arms! friendly staff, excellent food, and cozy atmosphere. the outdoor eating area was a nice touch. great parking facilities too. exceeded my expectations and would definitely stay again if in chirnside.

Breakfast was a bit pricey for what we ate.

I had a great stay here as a lone traveller. The hotel staff were super accommodating, allowing me early check-in. The room was clean and had a comfortable bed. The hotel facilities, including the bar and restaurant, were lovely and cozy. The menu had a good variety of dishes, and I really enjoyed the curry. The staff were friendly and welcoming. this hotel was a gem of a find and provided fantastic value for money.
