As a young family, we loved the friendly staff, delicious food, and clean facilities. The inn felt safe and had a great atmosphere.

The building inside, the hall and doors upstairs look ready for a new coat of paint, but it didn't affect our pleasant stay. The breakfast was nicely presented with a good menu, and the cooked breakfast was excellent. We also had a tasty evening meal. The staff were very helpful throughout our stay, making us feel welcome and taken care of.

The shower took a while to heat up and the water pressure was low. Additionally, the heater in the bathroom didn't work.

The Watermill Inn & Brewery was conveniently located near the lakes. I had a great experience with the attentive and hardworking staff, especially the guy who served breakfast. the meals, both dinner and breakfast, were delicious. the staff was friendly and the quality and value of the food exceeded my expectations. the inn also had an excellent range of real ales brewed onsite, perfect for beer enthusiasts. the location was ideal with easy access to Windermere, Bowness, and the Hawkshead brewery.

The staff were really friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. the food was delicious, with something for everyone on the menu. We also loved the location, which was perfect for exploring the area and enjoying some great walks.

Our room was a bit on the cold side, with the heating only coming on at certain times which made it chilly at night. There were also limited plug sockets in the room, which made it difficult to charge our devices and use the hairdryer at the same time.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at The Watermill Inn & Brewery. It was his first trip to the lakes and he loved every minute of it. The staff were super friendly and helpful, always willing to answer any questions we had. The food was amazing and the entire place was very clean. We also appreciated that it is dog-friendly. Our room, number 6, was cozy and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We can't wait to hopefully go back in the summer.

I recently stayed at this hotel and it was an incredible experience. The location was perfect, close to the lakes and just outside the pub. The staff made us feel so welcome and the service was excellent. The room was comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. The terrace and garden furniture provided a cozy spot to relax. The breakfast was a feast each morning, with a great selection on the menu. this place exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it to others.
