The hotel had a great location by the canal, perfect for peaceful walks and the restaurant and bar were top-notch, offering good value meals. the shower pressure in the rooms was amazing, probably the best I’ve experienced. the only downside was the heating was off when we arrived, but after a quick email request, they got it turned on and it was smooth sailing from there. very cozy and cool place to stay! 👍.

The veggie dishes were like winning the culinary jackpot! Plus, the hospitable staff helped with bike storage and hooking me up with an electric heater. Not to mention the delish grub at the restaurant. Nearby nosh spots include Zafrani Indian Take Away and the Waterside Restaurant & Bar. Cons: Just one gripe—no lights near the mirror.

The bathroom had excellent ambient lighting for nighttime use, and the shower pressure was the best I've experienced in a hotel.

The bed was slightly uncomfortable for my personal preference, being too low to the floor.
