I recently stayed at The Weir Hotel for a few nights while visiting friends. The location was perfect, with beautiful views of the river and easy access to the toll path for scenic walks. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice decor. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the on-site parking was convenient. The food, including the salmon on croute and the delicious chips, was superb. I especially appreciated the option to request a smaller portion for breakfast. I had a delightful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Had a wonderful Christmas stay at this hotel with stunning views of the river and the weir. the location was perfect for long walks along the beautiful riverside. the room was clean and cozy with a comfortable bed, and the balcony provided a lovely spot to relax and watch the boats go by.

There were a few downsides to our experience. the shared fire escape balcony was unexpected and didn't offer the privacy we had hoped for.

One of the best nights sleep we’ve had in an age. Opted for a balcony room and it was a real treat to listen to the river all night. Room was comfortable and all the furnishings are in line with a pub circa 1830s. the team was super friendly and helpful - we felt like honoured guests. Food was fantastic! the spring roll appetiser tastes just like it does in Vietnam and the burger is was filling. Great price for the value and a nice selection of local ales. Breakfast was a well presented full English with all the fixings. We will certainly be back!

The Weir Hotel is a hidden gem, tucked away in a picturesque location by the river. The beer garden is the perfect spot to soak up the evening sun and admire the stunning view. The rooms offer a great view of the river, making you feel like you're on a peaceful getaway. The staff are friendly and helpful, adding a personal touch to the experience. And to top it all off, the breakfast is delicious, setting you up for a day of exploring.

The breakfast at Weir was absolutely delicious, with hot and tasty dishes specifically cooked for me. The location by the river is lovely and must be even more beautiful in better weather. I also appreciated that they welcomed my little dog with open arms, making her feel right at home.

I did notice that the communal areas of the hotel felt a bit dirty, likely due to the owner/manager having a large hairy dog and some complacency. There was also an unpleasant smell coming from the kitchen during lunch service, although it did dissipate afterward.

I had a great stay at Weir Hotel, which had a fantastic location on the river just outside Walton-on-Thames centre. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant offered a good range of freshly cooked meals. the included breakfast was also delicious and great value. the hotel was a perfect base for visiting Hampton Court, Wisley, and Brooklands, with excellent transport links. the views of the Thames and the abundance of wildfowl were an added bonus. the Weir Hotel had a great atmosphere without the distractions of TVs and loud music, making for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
