Cozy rooms with thoughtful amenities

I enjoyed the cozy and modern room, complete with a great shower and Netflix. the mini fridge with breakfast options was a nice touch as well. the lack of proper breakfast service and the steep, narrow staircase were aspects that could be improved for a more comfortable stay.

At Wheatsheaf Pub, Kitchen & Rooms, I appreciated the rustic charm of the sturdy wooden bed frames. I had to be cautious of the exposed corners to avoid any accidental bumps. the room and bathroom were comfortable, making for a perfect stay. I'll recommend this hotel.

Had a cozy stay in the town center with a spacious room. LOVED the live entertainment. Friendly staff, but noise from the busy road was a downside. Would consider staying again. Photo quality doesn't do justice to the room. Cheers!

The cleanliness and cozy pub atmosphere, along with the friendly and helpful staff, made our stay enjoyable. The sturdy rustic bed frame and convenient location were highlights. The free parking and easy access to nearby areas through the excellent bus service were a big plus. While the room was a bit cold, the team promptly addressed it once mentioned. The continental breakfast hampers, although self-serve, were convenient for a quick start to the day. a comfortable stay with minor quirks to be prepared for.

Our New Year stay was pleasant, thanks to the spacious and clean room with a large ensuite. the location was ideal, right in the center with bars, restaurants and shops nearby. We appreciated the little treats like fudge in the room and the blackout blinds made for a good night's sleep.

The external-only accommodation access meant we had to keep the curtains drawn for privacy and the room's unnecessary massive drawing cabinet took up precious space.

The rooms were tidy and well decorated, with a pleasant decor. The restaurant served delicious food, and the chef and staff were excellent. The location was great, with a lovely little breakfast cafe nearby and a Chinese takeaway just a stone's throw away.

We had a lovely stay at a charming pub with well-decorated rooms. the breakfast concept of picking your own in a basket the night before was interesting. the staff provided excellent service, even though we arrived late. the beer was excellent, and there were good dining options nearby.

The historic building and character of the hotel were charming. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The location was great as it was right in the town center. The staff were nice and helpful.

Noise from the busy main road outside the hotel was a bit disruptive.

Loved the shower and blinds, and the surroundings in the room were pleasant. Great ambiance in the restaurant, with chandeliers and leather seating. Delicious set menu and freshly baked cakes for mum.

Just adored the noise from the singer in the room next door, the lack of soundproofing from outside, the freezing room, no breakfast box, and the absence of staff to complain to. So delightful!
