I recently stayed at The White House for a business trip and it was a wonderful experience. Geoff, the owner, provided a warm welcome and even took the time to give me a tour of the hotel and share its fascinating history. The Seaview room I stayed in was not only spacious and impeccably clean, but also had a comfortable bed and a large bathroom. The breakfast was delicious, with Geoff going above and beyond to ensure everyone's satisfaction. The hotel also offers off-road parking and a convenient location near town and the beach. it felt like staying at a charming boutique hotel with friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere.

The staff at this hotel were absolutely lovely and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. the rooms were clean, modern, and had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed and a TV with Netflix. the hotel also had a great location, with easy access to major routes and attractions. One advantage that we really enjoyed was the delicious breakfast with a wide choice on the menu for both adults and children.

As foreign tourists, we loved the beautifully decorated hotel with high standards of housekeeping. The breakfast menu had a great choice for both adults and children. The comfortable bed and magnificent view of the North Sea were impressive. The shower room was superb, with an invigorating dual shower/rainfall shower. The backlit mirror with built-in hairdryer station was a useful feature. The efficient and friendly service from the owners made us feel welcome. The hotel also had a bar and a wedding/conference venue facility.

stayed here before in peterlee, but white house blew us away this time! stunning decor, immaculate rooms, and an amazing breakfast. the owners are welcoming and go above and beyond. loved meeting geoff! can't wait to return with our kids next time.

The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. The breakfast is delicious, cooked to order and served over a reasonable period of time.

Some guests mentioned that smokers standing outside the front door posed a minor inconvenience.

It would have been nice to have tissues in the bathroom. The location was not ideal for walking to restaurants, as the pavements in the housing estate were uneven.
