We were incredibly impressed with the food at The White Lion. The Pinneys smoked fish platter was absolutely delicious, as were the smoked chicken Caesar salad and ham hock terrine. The staff at the brasserie were also lovely and provided excellent service. we highly recommend dining at this hotel.

Had a fantastic Xmas break at a hotel near the beach. The bed was so comfortable, I had the best night's sleep ever. The food was delicious, especially the interesting menu for dinner. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, making our stay even better. One of the best aspects was being just a stone's throw away from the beach/seafront and having a lift available for accessibility.

While breakfast service was a bit chaotic on our first morning, it improved greatly the next day when the restaurant manager was on duty. Despite the hotel car park being small, we always found a space, and there was plenty of free street parking in front of the hotel.

Had a great time at this hotel during our Xmas holiday! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room, although a little dated, was clean and comfortable. The en-suite was modern and spotless. The best part was the location - it was so convenient to walk to shops, restaurants, and the pebble beach.
