We loved how this place was perfect for hiking and exploring the outdoors. The service was top-notch, with the staff being extremely friendly and providing great service. We were warmly welcomed with a refreshing drink upon arrival. The room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed, including ironing facilities, heating, and a flat-screen TV. The hotel also had a lovely garden area where we could relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay!

The isolated location added to the appeal, offering stunning views of the surrounding hills. The cleanliness and attention to detail were exceptional. The property had great facilities and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a perfect stay. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable experience in the Dales.

The young inn owners, Chris and Helinka, went above and beyond to assure our comfort and help us get back on the road. They arranged a replacement car and provided exceptional service, even accommodating us for an extra night when they were closed. Their kindness and hospitality truly made our stay unforgettable. I highly recommend this inn for its warm and accommodating service.

We recently spent our Christmas at this hotel and overall, we had a decent experience. the best aspects of our stay were the comfortable and well-appointed rooms, with nice touches such as underfloor heating in the bathroom and a comfortable bed. the location was ideal as it offered easy access to beautiful river scenery and plenty of walks in the surrounding area. We particularly enjoyed exploring the nearby Buckden Pike and Upper Wharfedale.

There were a couple of things that could have been better. the service was a bit slow, especially when it came to the arrival of our starters.

This quaint little Dales pub is the perfect base for walking in Upper Wharfedale and exploring the wider area. The newly renovated ensuite in our cosy room was a nice touch, and the wifi and TV reception were perfect. The evening meal, once it finally arrived, was good and breakfast was excellent. The staff were pleasant and it’s clear that the owners have invested a lot to ensure comfortable accommodation and a fantastic location for those seeking a pleasant stay.
