We got great value for our money at The Windmill Inn - Whitby. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the location was perfect for our trip to Whitby. The staff treated us warmly and gave us helpful recommendations for places to visit and eat in town.

The breakfast could have been improved with a wider variety of vegetarian options.

Close to Whitby town. Excellent food and friendly staff. Clean rooms with luxurious towels and bath. Generous breakfast and in-room tea/coffee options. Nice quiet location near the abbey.

The breakfast was exceptional, with high, quality ingredients and deliciously cooked dishes. the pub menu was also impressive, offering well, prepared and tasty food. the staff were friendly and welcoming, going out of their way to make us feel at home. the locals were also very friendly, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. the rooms were clean and comfortable, with spacious bathrooms. the location was ideal, situated between Robin Hood's Bay and Whitby, providing a peaceful atmosphere for a good night's sleep.

The shared facilities could have been bigger, as there was only one shower and one toilet for the four huts. This could be inconvenient at times, as there could be a wait for the facilities.

Generous portions for breakfast. Fresh home-cooked food in the restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to Cinder Trail for walking and cycling.

I had a fantastic stay at The Windmill Inn. The location was great as it was very close to Whitby, so it was easy for me to go sightseeing. I could even see the abbey from my bedroom window, which was a nice bonus. The room itself was lovely, with a comfortable bed and a fabulous bath. The hotel facilities were also impressive - I loved that I could choose to sit in the restaurant with my drink if the bar area became too noisy. The staff were both friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was superb. I had a great experience.

The warm welcome we received, including a friendly greeting from a lovely rotti, added to the overall holiday experience. The staff went above and beyond by assuring us of safe parking for our vintage car during the local lifeboat event. The location was perfect, with the breathtaking view of Whitby Abbey from our bedroom window. The breakfast and evening meals were exceptional, with delicious and fresh food. A bonus was the option to sit in the restaurant if the bar area became too noisy.

Nothing to fault.

During our weekend stay, we had a comfortable and cosy room with a lovely roll top bath. Breakfast was full of flavour and the locally sourced ingredients made it extra special. We also appreciated the helpful staff who were always happy to recommend places to visit and were friendly and welcoming.

The curtains in our room were not fully opaque and let too much light in early in the morning. the location was a bit further from the coast than we had expected, but it was conveniently close to nearby towns for day trips.

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, especially towards my 11 year old son. The shepherd's huts provided a unique and memorable experience. The food and ale served were absolutely first class. The location was beautiful and peaceful, with easy access to Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay. The chalets and rooms were clean, comfortable, and had lovely views. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices on the menu.

We had a fantastic stay at a charming village pub with a lively atmosphere. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a luxurious free standing bath in our room and a large television for our entertainment. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay memorable. The location was perfect, just a short drive away from both Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay, and we enjoyed walks along the scenic Cinder Track. The breakfast was delicious, with a scrumptious cooked breakfast and tasty black pudding.

I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money at this hotel. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail and the modern decor of the rooms. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. I was particularly impressed with the spacious bathrooms, complete with lovely en-suite facilities. To top it all off, the breakfast included in the price was delicious, and the staff even cheerfully offered me extra tea when I arrived early in the morning.

I recently had a wonderful stay at this hotel and I couldn't have asked for more. First of all, the value for money was excellent - I got so much for what I paid. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was impressive, from the tastefully decorated rooms to the lovely bathroom with a great roll top bath. The location was also perfect, as I could easily get to the coast or take a taxi to the town center. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, even cheerfully offering me extra tea at breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, it was included in the price and was absolutely delicious.
