The Marquis Inn in Aberdare was a great find! The room was immaculately clean with a superb shower. The staff were friendly and approachable, providing excellent hospitality. The decor was modern and the breakfast was delicious. The bar and beer garden were also enjoyable. Will definitely stay here again!

I had a really great stay at this hotel. the value for money was outstanding, with reasonable prices for both the rooms and the bar. Secondly, the attention to detail was commendable, with spotless bedding, nice bathrooms, and excellent facilities in the rooms. Lastly, the location of the hotel is simply stunning, with beautiful views over the Brecon Beacons.

Everything was great and there is nothing I feel needs improvement.

The Marquis Inn Aberdare is conveniently located right next to the town centre and close to the busy roundabout. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with nice decor and amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. The breakfast and evening meals are delicious, with plenty of food. The manager even went above and beyond by giving us a lift to a local venue. it was a lovely stay with great facilities.

The open, walk-in shower in the room leaves the bathroom very wet, which can be a bit inconvenient.

I had a wonderful stay at The Marquis Inn. The facilities were top-notch, the room was comfortable, and the location was perfect. I also appreciated the friendly and welcoming staff who served us breakfast. The fact that they offered free parking on-site was a bonus. Despite a few minor drawbacks like the missing fittings and the lack of blinds, overall, I had a great experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

I recently stayed at The Marquis Inn for a few days to catch up with my brother. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay all the more enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent, with a great reputation for food overall. The location is ideal, surrounded by traditional pubs for a true local experience. The room itself was comfortable and well-appointed, with modern décor and stunning mountain views. The wifi was reliable and the large TV was a bonus.

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Beautifully decorated room with walk-in shower. Packed lunch offered for early departures. Good selection of bar meals. Spotlessly clean room with tasteful decoration. The Marquis Inn was excellent value for money and the room we stayed in was spacious and well-equipped. The location was perfect, being close to the National Park, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive.

The only thing that could have improved the breakfast menu would have been a larger selection of vegetarian options.

the staff were welcoming, friendly, and extremely helpful. the room was lovely, with a fantastic view of the town and mountains. Everything in the room was perfect, from the comfortable beds to the spacious bathroom with a great shower. the terrace out front was a great spot to enjoy the outdoors and the view. the manager, Gavin, was a lovely man and even ordered a taxi for us to visit the Penderyn Whisky distillery. We also had a fabulous meal in the conservatory, with the steak and ale pie being a standout. the entertainment in the evening was fantastic, thanks to a brilliant singer. Thanks to Gavin for being a great host!

Spent Christmas at this hotel, and it was amazing. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made sure that we had everything we needed to enjoy the festivities. the rooms were well-equipped and clean, and the location was perfect for exploring the local area.

Although our stay was overall fantastic, the only downside was that the heating in our room was not working properly. It was quite chilly in the room, and we had to request extra blankets to keep warm.
