I recently had a great stay at this hotel in the heart of a charming village. The location couldn't be better, right in the middle of town. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to ensure my stay was enjoyable. The rooms were cozy and had everything I needed, including a comfortable double bed and a lovely view of the surrounding area. The breakfast was delicious, made with the best local ingredients. this hotel provided excellent value for money.

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy and conveniently located inn. the staff, including Natasha, Celine, and Natasha's Mum, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, despite being understaffed. the cleanliness of the inn was impeccable, and our room had all the amenities we needed, such as a kettle, fridge, and TV with Netflix. the breakfast, including a full English option and choices for vegetarians, exceeded our expectations. the inn is also surrounded by picturesque walking paths and a cluster of pubs, making it the perfect base for exploring Coniston. We truly appreciated the hard work and effort put in by the staff and are grateful for their exceptional service.

The hotel had everything we needed during our city break. the carpeted room with ensuite shower and toilet was clean and had a lovely little view. We enjoyed the nearby shops, local walks in beautiful countryside, and the great food and drink. But, what we loved the most was the friendliest, most helpful staff we could wish for, especially the wonderful waiting on staff during breakfast who were so polite and helpful.

While the decor needs updating a little, the staff behind the bar sometimes swore while talking to each other, which could be annoying for some customers.

The beds were comfy, spotless rooms, professional staff, great food, dog friendly, well located.
