My thanksgiving stay was exceptional! the room was cozy and had everything I needed. the top-quality shower products and delicious cookies were a nice touch. I enjoyed the location as it was a short drive to many local attractions and the peaceful countryside provided a great escape from the city. the free breakfast was fantastic and the friendly staff made me feel right at home. I especially appreciated the additional amenities offered like the covered conservatory area and beautiful garden. a delightful stay and highly recommended to anyone seeking a comfortable and homely experience.

The hotel is conveniently located just 10 minutes off the A1, making it easily accessible. the staff were excellent and very friendly, going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. the room and facilities were clean and well-maintained.

The room was a bit warm for my liking, but luckily a fan was provided. the lights in the room were quite bright, which made it a bit hard to relax.

We stayed at Thomas Wright House for the Kynren Show and found the location perfect, just a five-minute drive to Bishop Auckland. The B&B itself is beautifully appointed with gorgeous rooms and very comfortable beds. The restaurant is highly recommended, especially the duck. What truly stands out is the friendly staff, some of the friendliest we've ever met! The owner, in particular, was fantastic, always around and ensuring guests were happy. The Aquila room was great, and the hot tub added a special touch for relaxation. The cooked breakfast was fabulous, and the views over the countryside were stunning. Lovely modern decor with clever amenities like the illuminated bathroom mirror. Shuttered windows allowed privacy as desired.

We were pleasantly surprised to find towels, slippers, and even tea, coffee, and biscuits provided. The breakfast was delicious and delivered to our room at the exact time we requested. We definitely plan on returning and highly recommend this place to others.
