The comfortable bed, clean bed linen, and towels added to our overall comfort. the attention to cleaning and disinfecting tables in the restaurant and bar was commendable.

We were caught off guard by a live football match screening at the pub on a Saturday, which resulted in excessive noise and inappropriate language from some customers. It would have been helpful to receive prior warning and an option for cancellation if this would have been a concern for us.

The twin room was small but cosy and clean, with tea and coffee making facilities. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. Breakfast was fantastic, with a generous cooked breakfast and unlimited tea and toast. The staff and service were brilliant, friendly and professional. Lots of local attractions nearby, including 3 castles and a nuclear bunker museum.

I stayed at the Tollemache Arms for one night while attending a wedding nearby. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially the lady on reception who helped me with a last-minute outfit crisis. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, and they even had a special hungover option which was perfect after a night of celebrating. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of parking available. it was a nice place to stay.
