I recently stayed at Tonge Barn and had a wonderful experience. The purpose of my travel was business, and I stayed for a few nights. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful, with well-established gardens. The rooms were lovely, well-furnished, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Steve, the host, was warm, friendly, and went above and beyond by upgrading my room at no extra cost. The breakfast was delicious, with freshly cooked food using quality ingredients. a fantastic stay and I will definitely be returning.

Located in a peaceful countryside setting with picturesque grounds filled with flowers and a flowing river. The rooms are luxurious, well-appointed, and very clean. The beds are super comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. The breakfast is excellent, offering a delicious English fry-up with coffee/tea, juice, and a selection of cereals. The staff are friendly and attentive, providing warm and welcoming service. The surrounding area allows for opportunities to see wildlife like baby ducklings and rabbits.

The mini barn we stayed in was beautiful and the bed was extremely comfy. The staff were warm and inviting, and breakfast was incredible. We loved the stunning surroundings and the gardens were a real bonus. The full English breakfast was excellent - delicious and of generous portion size. a lovely place to stay.

We had a delightful stay at Tonge Barn Guest House. The staff were friendly and the breakfasts were excellent. The rooms were well-maintained and very clean, with a nice bonus of having a fridge. The setting was beautiful, with a lovely garden to sit out in. The outside chalet room we stayed in was spacious and warm, and the view from our door was superb. it was a peaceful and picturesque experience, with ample on-site parking.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, particularly the lady from Romania who was both delightful and courteous. The breakfast, cooked to order, was hot, delicious, and a real highlight of our stay. The service we received from start to finish was excellent, with a warm welcome upon arrival and refreshments offered. Despite the nearby train line causing some noise, the rooms, accommodation, and overall experience were fantastic.

I had a fabulous stay at this hotel. It was beautifully decorated and had a cosy atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the attention to detail in the room was impressive. I loved the essential oil diffuser, mini toiletries, and full-sized kettle. The hotel also provided handy extras like a fridge, plug-in room fragrances, and dimmer bedside lamps. The remote temperature-controlled air conditioning/heater was a great feature. I couldn't find any faults.

The room was spacious and had great facilities, including a comfy bed and a wet room. The breakfast was delicious, with high-quality produce, and the manager was incredibly friendly and helpful. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful grounds, with sheep, ducks, and wild rabbits, added to the charm of our stay. We especially loved the quaint and rustic barn chalet we stayed in. The staff went out of their way to assist us, making our experience delightful.

Each room was well-equipped with a kettle, fridge, TV, and internet. the breakfast selection was excellent, with a wide variety of cereals, full English breakfast, and beverages. the location of the hotel was perfect for a peaceful countryside getaway, with beautiful walks and scenic views nearby.

In the rear rooms, the wireless reception was a bit poor, making it difficult to stay connected at times. it took a little while for the hot water to come through in the front rooms.

The hotel is absolutely lovely, with beautiful surroundings and easily accessible. The rooms are furnished beautifully and have everything you could need. The service is excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast options are great, with a delicious Full English available. The rooms also offer great views of the fields, with sheep grazing peacefully.

The train line nearby can be a bit noisy at times, but it is not a major issue and doesn't detract from the overall experience.

The mini barn we stayed in was beautifully decorated, with an extremely comfy bed that ensured a restful night's sleep. The staff were warm and inviting, providing excellent service throughout our stay. We were also delighted with the breakfast, which was delicious and satisfying. The well-kept small garden next to a brook was a lovely spot to relax in, adding to the overall charm of the place.

We did notice some lime-scale damage to the shower head and tiles in the bathroom. Though the room was immaculately clean, it would be beneficial if the housekeepers used a 50:50 mixture of distilled white vinegar and water to tackle the lime-scale issue.
