We had a delightful stay at the Tumbling Weir. The check-in process was warm and welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel was ideal, as it was close to the city center while still offering a peaceful countryside atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive. The highlight of our stay was the delicious food, including a well-cooked and presented dinner. We would definitely choose to stay at Tumbling Weir again if we were in the area.

Our stay at Tumbling Weir was incredible value for money, with a beautifully designed and well-serviced room. The location, nestled between the river Otter and the millstream, was simply delightful. The staff were friendly, flexible, and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs.

We loved the flexibility and accommodation of the host, allowing us to check in early for a wedding. The key provided for the front door gave us the freedom to come and go as we pleased. The well-designed and serviced bedrooms, along with the pleasant timbered lounge, bar, and dining room, made our stay comfortable. The hotel's location next to the river and millstream, with its big garden, was absolutely delightful. Not to mention, the homemade preserves and selection of books added a lovely touch.

The evening meal and breakfast were absolutely delicious and of a high standard. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. the hotel was situated in a peaceful location with a beautiful leafy outlook. It was also conveniently close to village shops and a supermarket.

The room could have had a larger TV and a bigger bathroom. It would have been more convenient if they accepted payment on-site rather than charging my credit card beforehand.

tumbling weir in ottery st mary was a delightful escape from the city chaos. the cozy room, spotless cleanliness, and comfortable bed exceeded my expectations. the homemade jams, marmalade, and excellent breakfast made it a truly special stay. highly recommended for touring the area.
