The Ty Mawr Hotel in Llanbedr is a fantastic choice for backpackers. The friendly hosts, clean and spacious rooms, and pet-friendly policy make for a welcoming atmosphere. It's conveniently located just a short walk away from beautiful waterfalls and the stunning Snowdonia mountains. The nearby train station makes it easily accessible for travelers. The hotel also offers a good breakfast service with quality food. There are also local shops and a bakery/cafe nearby, perfect for grabbing take-out sandwiches. Moreover, the hotel provides great local area walks with scenic views.

Felt right at home, no complaints whatsoever.

The best aspects of my Christmas stay were the stunning view from the window and the delicious meals offered at the hotel. the view was absolutely breathtaking, and it added a special touch to my holiday experience. the hotel's location was also excellent, conveniently situated near my planned activities. the staff were very friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The worst aspects of my stay were the small room size and the inconvenient breakfast timing. the room was a bit cramped, and there was no comfortable seating available.

I had a lovely stay at Ty Mawr and was impressed with the beautiful setting in the heart of Snowdonia. The staff were welcoming and accommodating, allowing us to get drinks from the bar to take up to our room when we arrived late. The double room we stayed in was decent-sized, clean, and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows and covers. I also appreciated the tea and coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast in the morning was good, although I would have liked to see more options like pastries, fruit, and yogurt. The dining room was pleasant, and the host was lovely. I would not hesitate to book at Ty Mawr again when I return to Wales.

We stayed at Ty Mawr for a weekend getaway and had an amazing time. The staff and management were incredibly friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect, with beautiful attractions nearby like Nantcol Waterfalls and Harlech Castle. Our room was simply stunning, with a lovely view of the garden and a cozy, airy atmosphere. The hotel's dog-friendly policy was a big plus for us, and the pub attached to the hotel had a great menu with delicious food at reasonable prices. we were impressed with everything at Ty Mawr and would definitely stay here again.
