Friendly staff, clean rooms, great location for sightseeing, delicious breakfast with plenty of options. Definitely recommended for a comfortable stay in a central area with good hygiene practices in place.

The hotel was nicely decorated and seemed recently renovated. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They allowed us to eat our take away in a private area and even provided plates and cutlery. The breakfast was delicious and filling.

The hotel also lacked amenities, such as a chair in the bedroom and a shelf in the bathroom, making it a little cramped and inconvenient. Lastly, the breakfast lacked flavor and the coffee was bitter.

I recently had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the town center of Jedburgh. The rooms were stylishly refurbished, with new carpets throughout and beds that were incredibly comfortable. The modern en-suite bathrooms were a great touch, complete with plenty of hooks to hang towels and toiletries. The attention to detail was superb, making the rooms feel cozy and inviting.

All was spot on, no complaints at all.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, even offering us the use of a lounge area to enjoy our take away food when most restaurants were closed. the breakfast was cooked to order and delicious, with no problem accommodating our requests for more toast and tea. the rooms were clean and the bathrooms were spacious, with plenty of towels. the hotel's location on the main street made it convenient to walk to all the tourist attractions, although be prepared for a steep climb to the old jail!

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like! 😊

The service and food at Royal were exceptional. Arriving late, the chef kindly stayed on to cater for us. The haggis filled chicken and salmon dishes were delicious and well presented. The friendly and helpful host ensured a wonderful experience. Will definitely return. highly recommended.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the centre of town near everything. The cleanliness was top-notch, from the fresh and modern decor to the spotless room and ensuite. The hotel facilities were great, especially the bistro which offered excellent value meals from the specials board. The location was ideal, right in the centre of this city in Scotland's border country. The friendly and helpful staff made my stay even more enjoyable.

Room was clean and comfortable, with fresh towels every day. Breakfast was tasty and included a variety of options to choose from. the location was convenient with easy access to public transportation.

The Wi-Fi was unreliable and made it difficult to work from my room during my business trip. the noise level from other guests was also a concern, making it hard to get a good night's sleep.

The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Jedburgh in the Scotland's border country, making it easy to explore the town and enjoy the surrounding countryside. We loved being within walking distance of charming bars and restaurants, adding to the overall experience of our stay.
