We had a really comfortable stay at Vas' place. the room at the top of the house was spacious, clean, and had plenty of storage space. the location was perfect, peaceful and quiet, yet only a short walk from the train station, city walls, and the river. Vas was a welcoming host and made us feel right at home.

Lucy, our host, was incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring that we had a great experience. the top floor room we stayed in was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. the location of the house is perfect, situated in a quiet street just a short walk away from town. the nearby museum gardens are stunning, and we even got to interact with friendly squirrels! Vas' York House provided the perfect base for our adventure in this fantastic city.

She went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great experience, especially for my 11-year-old son. the top floor room we had was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. the location of the house is excellent, situated on a quiet street just a short walk away from a reasonably priced 24-hour car park. It only takes about 10 minutes to walk into the city center, and along the way, you can enjoy the beautiful museum gardens and their friendly squirrels. Vas' York House and Lucy truly provided the perfect base for our York adventure. We can't wait to come back!

This was a great stay at Vas' York House! We stayed for a few nights and found the location to be perfect - a quiet residential area, but still only a short walk to the city center and York Minster. Vas and Lucy were amazing hosts, making sure our room was ready early and providing everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the room was spacious and clean, and we had a peaceful and relaxing evening after exploring the city. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to York. Highly recommended!

the house, with its Victorian features dating back to the 1860s, provided a comfortable and cozy stay. the hosts, Vasken and Lucy, were incredibly generous and went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. From the Easter chocolates they provided for my daughter to their kind and charming demeanor, their hospitality was exceptional. the shared bathroom was cleaned regularly, and we were grateful for the access to the kitchen for making tea and coffee. sharing stories and knowledge of London with them added to the overall enjoyable experience.
