We absolutely loved our stay at this lovely boutique hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the beautiful coastline and a few hundred meters from a charming castle. The bar-restaurant next door, which is part of the hotel, had delicious food and a great atmosphere. Our room, the Onyx Room, was spacious and luxurious, with a bathroom that could fit a small convention! The cleanliness throughout the hotel was impeccable. We also enjoyed the convenience of having shops and restaurants nearby.

We felt very welcome and had no complaints whatsoever.

the accommodation was absolutely fabulous, with a beautiful and unique interior. the room was comfortable and had all the necessary amenities, including a spacious shower and a window with a stunning view of the sea. the bar next door, Ownie's, served excellent food from their restaurant menu, and we even got to enjoy some live music.

I recently stayed at Walter's Place in Carrickfergus for five nights and it was the perfect cozy and quiet B&B. The staff at Ownies Bar, where you check-in and have breakfast, were warm and inviting. The Koi Carp room was beautifully decorated with a spacious bathroom and amenities like a fridge and Netflix. The breakfast options were delicious and we even had a superb evening meal at Ownies. The location is great, with easy access to the train station and the high street with its bars and restaurants.

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was clean, quiet, well equipped, and private, with a balcony. The hotel is close to the seafront, providing a lovely walk. We had no problem finding parking outside. The breakfast was of a high standard, and the staff were always helpful and friendly.

Right next to the pub, I had the convenience of enjoying drinks and meals without having to venture far. The hotel also offered a delicious breakfast in the adjacent bar. The staff were welcoming and made me feel at home.

The Wi-Fi connection can be discontinuous at times.

Cleanliness was top-notch. The hotel facilities were excellent. Parking was convenient. The hotel's location to events at Carrick Sailing club was perfect. Breakfast was outstanding. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We had a fantastic stay at a charming bed and breakfast in a lovely town. The room was beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and impeccable cleanliness. The breakfast and evening meal were both excellent, served with efficient and friendly service. Additionally, the location was ideal for exploring Northern Ireland. The only minor drawback was some internal noise from other guests, but it wouldn't deter me from staying again. I highly recommend this hotel.

Walter's Place exceeded our expectations and made our visit memorable.
