The location was ideal, allowing us to take walks along the river bank and explore the lovely walled garden. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a well-appointed bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious, and we had the option of dining at local restaurants or pubs nearby for dinner.

As avid trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the spacious and comfortable rooms at Warwick House. The friendly staff made us and our dogs feel welcome. The beautiful grounds and well-marked path along the river were perfect for our nature walks. The cosy lounge provided a relaxing spot for pre-dinner drinks, and the delicious meals in the dining room were a treat. The location was convenient for exploring Carlisle and even crossing the border into Scotland.

Spent the Christmas holiday in a cozy inn located in the heart of the beautiful Cumbrian countryside, surrounded by picturesque views of the river.

One of our booked rooms wasn't what we had originally selected, and there was a tacky room next to our annex that we could hear throughout the night. the staff seemed unwilling to accommodate any changes to room assignments once we arrived, which left a bit of a sour taste in our mouths.

Gorgeous house, spacious room with fireplace and stunning view. Wildlife binoculars provided. Friendly hosts and delicious food. Dog-friendly and private river footpath. So much to love - upcycled furnishings, bath with view, lovely dinner, thoughtful service, dietary needs catered for.

We were impressed by the beautiful location of Warwick Hall and the comfortable bedrooms with their cozy beds. The informal and friendly atmosphere gave us the feeling of staying with friends in a gorgeous country house. We particularly enjoyed the variety offered in the honesty bar and the opportunity to enjoy our drinks on the lovely terrace overlooking the river. The delicious breakfast made us eager to book dinner for our next visit. The staff provided excellent service, and we would like to mention the friendly and efficient young waiter who served us at breakfast.

As young people, we loved the fully equipped kitchen in our dog-friendly apartment at Warwick Hall. The cozy living space and comfortable sofa bed were a bonus. The staff were professional and charming, and the breakfast was a real treat. The picturesque grounds were perfect for a relaxing stay.

Exceptional service, nothing was too much trouble.

The location was perfect, just a short drive from the M6 junction, making it an ideal stopover for travelers. the property was a beautiful Georgian building with plenty of old-world charm. the rooms were spacious and comfortable, with king-size beds and lovely views of the river and countryside. the breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of choices and freshly cooked food. the dinner, despite a minor hiccup, was delicious, and the atmosphere felt more like staying in a private house than a hotel.

There were a few minor issues during our stay. the plumbing in the old building was a bit noisy at night, although it didn't keep us awake.
