Spacious and lovely rooms, great staff at the restaurant and check-in, superb location by the beautiful Conniston Lake, short walk into town, fab evening restaurant with delicious steak and ale pie. Recommended for everyone.

I had a lovely stay at The Coniston Inn - The Inn Collection Group. The staff were friendly and the location was beautiful. The room I stayed in was a decent size and had all the amenities I needed. Although the corridors and communal areas could have been cleaner, I still enjoyed my overall experience. The hotel is in need of some updating, but it didn't detract from my stay. I would recommend this hotel for its friendly staff and great location.

Friendly staff, secure storage for bikes and canoe, spacious and comfortable room with nice views. Comfy bed, great bath and shower facilities, clean and well-maintained. Tasty and well-cooked breakfast, fantastic evening meal, good range of options. couldn't fault it.

The hotel had a great atmosphere, and we ended up eating and drinking there throughout our stay because the food was fantastic. The views of the fells from the lounge were stunning, and the comfy bed ensured a good night's sleep. The breakfast was also top-notch, and the beautiful gardens added to the overall charm of the place.

The hotel location is fantastic, with a beautiful garden area and close proximity to Coniston boating centre. We loved being right on the edge of the lake, enjoying stunning views. The room we stayed in was comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided a great selection of choices and the service was prompt and efficient.

The hotel looks grubby and worn-out, with uPVC windows and grubby hand marks on doors. the rooms lack cleanliness, with bugs and spiders roaming around.

The beds were comfortable, and the view of the nearby mountain was lovely. the food in the restaurant was delicious, especially the game casserole with horseradish mash. the staff were friendly and helpful. Plus, the location was great, with easy access to the town and a beautiful view of the lake.

The shower pressure in our room was lacking, which made it difficult to have a satisfying shower. the replenishment of items in the room was not consistent, and we had to ask for essentials like towels and coffee.
