Stayed at a wonderful pub in a small village surrounded by fields and pastures. The Weary Friar Inn had a great location with a beautiful view. Free parking on site and friendly staff. Rooms were clean and our double room had a bath. Delicious seafood and a good selection of drinks available at the pub downstairs. Be prepared to travel narrow Cornish roads to get there, but it's worth it for the peaceful atmosphere and proximity to beautiful towns like Looe and Polperro. Real Cornish experience away from the crowds and tourists. Would definitely recommend!

We loved our recent romantic escape in the beautiful countryside. the inn was a pleasant surprise - the staff were friendly and always with a smile. the food at the restaurant was excellent, with a wide range of delicious options. And the best part? the inn was located in a charming village, surrounded by peaceful scenery and just a short drive away from some great attractions.

We had a fantastic stay at a great old pub run by enthusiastic staff. The location was perfect, surrounded by fields and pastures, with beautiful towns like Looe and Polperro nearby. We also enjoyed exploring the spooky old graveyard and church next to the inn.

My Superior room at the Weary Friar Inn was absolutely divine! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and it was such a treat to have tea and coffee in the room. The breakfast was superb, with the option to customize it to your liking. Although there was no omelette due to a previous guest's preference, the other options were cooked and presented to the highest standard. The proprietors and staff were also very welcoming and helpful throughout my stay.

Although we had a great overall experience, there were a few minor downsides. the mattress in our room was a bit uncomfortable, but the manageress kindly provided us with extra duvets to improve our sleep.
