The walk back to the hotel from town can be quite steep, but it is a small inconvenience compared to the overall wonderful experience.

What a disappointment! the hype is not justified. While the location was decent and had lovely views, the amenities fell short. the continental breakfast was basic, lacking options and quality. the room was rather dingy with poor attention to cleanliness and little decor. Even the heating was insufficient.

Our Christmas stay was far from the festive break we had in mind. the TV was tiny and of a bygone era, the WiFi was intermittent and the overall atmosphere was unhappy.

And the best part was the ample and free on-street parking available right outside the hotel. This was a huge bonus as parking can be difficult to find in the narrow streets of old Cornish towns. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped with everything I needed. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff who were friendly, accommodating, and always willing to help. The host's beautiful front and back gardens added a touch of serenity and beauty to my stay.

Michaela and Ben were the most accommodating hosts we've encountered. They were welcoming and addressed any issues immediately. the breakfast was fantastic and filling. the spacious room had everything we needed, and the beautiful dogs were brought out upon request. the peaceful sounds of the goats in the distant pastures added to our relaxing experience.

They even allowed us to bring our dog and made her feel at home with treats and cuddles. The bed was comfy, and the continental breakfast was delicious. They went above and beyond, offering us cooked eggs and stocking the fridge with a variety of drinks. The location was perfect, a short walk from town but quiet and tucked away. We can't wait to return with friends and family.
