What a gem of a place! the view of Skiddaw is jaw-dropping, rooms are super comfy with nice touches, and Judith and Peter are the friendliest hosts. the sun terrace was perfect for chilling out, and the garden area was a great spot for some quiet time. the only thing to note is that having a car is handy for getting around easily, but absolutely worth it for such a fantastic stay. Just superb! 🌟

The room was quite clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and had a good variety of options.-It was located in a beautiful setting with lovely views.

The view from the guest lounge is simply stunning, with a romantic bridge, charming church, and the beautiful Lake District mountains. The spacious lounge and comfortable seating areas make it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a delicious breakfast.

Oh, I absolutely hated the breathtaking view and exclusive use of the guest lounge. It was just terrible being surrounded by such beauty and having a comfortable place to unwind.

Exceptional hospitality and breathtaking views I had an unforgettable stay at this B&B with exceptional hospitality and breathtaking views of Skiddaw. the owners, Judith and Peter, went above and beyond to make our stay special, from the delicious breakfast to the thoughtful touches throughout our room. the location, though requiring a short drive to town, offers a peaceful retreat with stunning scenery. the only improvement would be more immediate access to shops and restaurants without the need for a car.

From the breathtaking location overlooking Skiddaw, to the immaculate cleanliness, stylish decor, and delicious breakfast, everything was flawless. Judith and Peter, the hosts, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was extra special, even helping arrange a surprise for my husband's birthday. Their warm and friendly welcome made us feel truly cared for. We can't recommend Westwood enough for an amazing experience.

I recently stayed at Westwood in the beautiful Lake District. The views from the dining area and terrace were absolutely stunning. The service provided by Judith and Peter was exceptional, from the warm welcome with tea and coffee to the helpful advice and attention to detail throughout our stay. The breakfast spread was amazing, with a wide selection including delicious vegetarian options. The rooms were top-notch, equipped with thoughtful amenities such as a coffee machine and pillow chocolates. Thank you, Judith and Peter, for making our visit extra special!
