Our stay at Wheal Tor was fantastic. The room was lovely and quaint, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We also enjoyed the spectacular view from our room. The staff and owner were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There were plenty of activities to do nearby, such as visiting The Hurlers, Minions, Cheesewrings. We particularly loved the BBQ area, where we could enjoy a warming fire on chilly nights. The food at the Wheal Tor restaurant was delicious, with fresh and locally sourced ingredients.

That the children's play area needs updating. It didn't offer much entertainment for my two small kids, so we couldn't enjoy an evening drink at the hotel.

The location was stunning, with breathtaking views and a charming outdoor area complete with picnic benches, a fire pit, and space for the kids to play. We loved exploring the surrounding area on walks, especially with our dog. The chalet we stayed in was cozy and warm, with the added bonus of tea and coffee facilities. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The food was delicious and excellent value for money. a perfect getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at Wheal Tor Hotel & Glamping, enjoying our time in a lovely camping pod with plenty of space and all the amenities we needed. the views were stunning, and we could easily go for great walks without needing to drive anywhere. the owners and staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel truly welcome. We were particularly impressed by the amazing food served at the on-site bar and restaurant, eliminating the need to venture off-site for meals.

Lovely location, family room had everything we needed, bathroom taps need improvement. Rooms recently renovated with nice showers and comfortable beds. Beautiful nature and outside amenities. Friendly staff, delicious and plentiful food. Great for escaping the city and exploring Cornwall.

Lovely views that are hard to beat. The bedding and towels were clean, thankfully. I had the fortune of a working toilet, which I heard was not always the case for other guests. The outside area had picnic benches, a fire pit, and space for kids to play. The location was beautiful, with wonderful views and ideal walks for dogs. The food at the pub was excellent and good value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We had a fantastic stay at a gorgeous location with incredible views. the staff at Wheal Tor Hotel & Glamping were lovely and welcoming, making us feel right at home. the hobbit huts were a quirky and enjoyable place to stay, clean and dry with comfortable beds. We loved exploring the beautiful walks around the site and relaxing in the clean and well-maintained showers and toilets. the presence of animals around the place added to the charm. the food options were great, and we particularly enjoyed the local cider. it was a wonderful experience.
