I recently stayed at the White Hart Inn for a few nights while exploring the beautiful Lakes. The staff and locals were incredibly friendly, making me feel very welcomed and safe as a solo female traveler. The building itself is charming and cozy, and my room was clean, tidy, and spacious. The breakfast was delicious and fueled me for a day of adventure. The pub atmosphere and food were excellent, and the location was ideal for getting to various parts of the Lakes. a lovely place to stay!

The staff are friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service throughout our visit. The rooms themselves offer beautiful views, especially when the windows are open or when enjoying a soak in the bath. The breakfast, served at a reasonable time, offers a good selection of items and is accompanied by a superb view.

the cleanliness of the room was not up to our standards and the musty smell made it hard to relax. while we enjoyed our time in the area, to this hotel due to the lack of attention to detail and subpar amenities.

The pub vibe was great. The room had a clean and cosy, barn house feel to it. The staff was amazing and very friendly. The food served at both the pub and breakfast was excellent. The location is great for the lakes if travelling by car. Highly recommended.

We had such a wonderful family stay in a charming oak beamed village pub in Southern Cumbria. The staff and locals in the next village were incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. The spacious family room with comfortable beds and a private bathroom provided a peaceful and cozy atmosphere. The breakfast in the pleasant dining room was delicious and the service was excellent.
