Great customer service and comfortable sleeping arrangements were the best aspects of this hotel. the location was also a plus, with many tourist attractions and restaurants nearby. I appreciated the free Wi-Fi in my room, which helped me prepare for my business meetings.

The lot was very small, and often filled up quickly, leaving me with little room to park my car. the noise level was very high at night, which made it difficult for me to sleep after a long day of work.

Located in the centre of the beautiful town, with a small café nearby and close to all amenities. The room was comfortable and well-equipped with tea and coffee. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and provided exceptional service. The breakfast was of good quality and catered to all appetites. There was a roll top bath in some rooms, adding a luxurious touch to the stay.

Recently stayed at the White Lion for a weekend getaway. The location was perfect, right in the center of everything. We were warmly welcomed by a friendly and attentive staff who made our stay incredibly enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, and the bathroom was spotless. The delicious lunch we had upon arrival was served quickly and efficiently despite the busy lunch hour. Would definitely return and recommend to friends.

We had a wonderful stay at this place. The location in the center of town was perfect, allowing us to explore the historic market town with ease. The staff here are amazing, always going out of their way to provide excellent service. The housekeeping was top-notch, ensuring our room was clean and comfortable. We loved the sitting area in our room, where we could relax and enjoy the lovely views. The free Wi-Fi was a bonus, allowing us to stay connected throughout our stay. the staff's attention to detail and fabulous customer service made our stay truly memorable.

The location of the hotel was great, as it was near to the excellent local cinema and the train station. We also had the option to have breakfast in the cafe close by, which was a convenient choice. The room was nicely decorated, and the bathroom was a great size. The staff were friendly and efficient, providing a professional and friendly service throughout our stay. The breakfast served in the morning was delicious, adding to our pleasant experience.

The bed in our room was too soft for our liking, which affected our comfort during the night.

Despite being centrally located, the room was quiet at night, allowing for a good night's sleep.

I had a marvellous suite at a lovely traditional pub. The room was spacious, comfy, and somewhat quirky, with beautiful furnishings. The Sunday lunch was absolutely delicious, with both meat and veggie options. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout my stay. The location was perfect, with everything I needed right on my doorstep. I would highly recommend this hotel.
