The location of the inn was perfect for us as it was just off the A1 and within easy reach of all the attractions we wanted to visit. Being close to the coast of Northumberland was a definite bonus, allowing us to explore the beautiful beaches. The staff provided great service throughout our stay and the breakfast offered many choices to start our day.

The limited walks in the immediate surrounding area were a drawback for us as trekkers and outdoor enthusiasts.
