We had an absolutely lovely stay here! The hotel is located right in the center of a university campus, surrounded by beautiful parkland. I recently stayed at Wivenhoe House for a few nights while visiting the nearby University of Essex. The location was perfect, with easy access to the university and a short drive into town. The room in the new wing was lovely, with a balcony and nice decor. The staff were welcoming and friendly, especially at reception and in the restaurant. The breakfast had a lot of choices and was served quickly. it was a great experience with good wifi, a nice shower, and a beautiful setting.
